Evercore plans secondary share sale

Evercore Partners, the boutique investment bank run by Roger Altman, the former US deputy Treasury secretary, is planning to sell additional shares to the public in a secondary offering.

According to people familiar with the matter, Evercore’s plans for a new share sale were advanced, and could be revealed within the next week or so. Evercore declined to comment.
