Formula One’s leading car manufacturers have become embroiled in a row over an alleged sex scandal involving Max Mosley, the president of the sport’s governing body.
Mercedes, BMW, Honda and Toyota on Thursday issued statements critical of Mr Mosley, head of the International Automobile Federation (FIA), after a British tabloid filmed and photographed lurid allegations of Mr Mosley in “a Nazi-style orgy” with prostitutes.
