Cameron draws strength from McCain

David Cameron, the new leader of Britain’s opposition Conservative party, on Sunday won a strong endorsement from Senator John McCain, the Republican frontrunner for the 2008 US presidential election.

Mr McCain paid tribute to the “unity, confidence and principled sense of purpose” that Mr Cameron had given the resurgent Conservatives since become party leader ten months ago.
