Aviation: Airports trail behind high-flying airlines

One of India’s most senior bankers sums up the state of India’s airports rather well.

“You have the peculiar problem where the infrastructure on the ground is not fully in place but the infrastructure in the air is there in terms of flights,” says KV Kamath, chief executive officer of ICICI Bank, India’s largest private lender.
