Tehran remains cautious despite public protests

Since Israel launched its assault against Hamas in the Gaza Strip, Iran’s rhetoric against the Jewish state has been loud and defiant.

Sporadic rallies by radical “students” have been staged outside western and Arab embassies in protest and 70,000 students have registered for supposed suicide attacks against Israel.
