Technology, such as wireless networking, BlackBerries, Palms and PDAs, has revolutionised employment, giving most companies sufficient infrastructure to influence how, where and when we work. IDC, the research company, estimates that, by 2009, 25 per cent of the global labour force will work from home or on the move.
