When David Maisel was a young boy he was a voracious reader of Marvel comics, with a soft spot for Iron Man, who, clad in a customised metal suit, would fly across the globe righting wrongs and defeating bad guys.
Mr Maisel also longed to work in the entertainment industry, which increased Iron Man’s appeal, partly because of the character’s alter ego. “Tony Stark was a businessman and had this amazing, exciting life,” he says. “Plus, he had a cool suit of armour.”
