Andy Blackburn is one of 46 European businesspeople spending 10 months in China, based in Beijing, as part of the Managers Exchange and Training Programme, a collaboration between the European Union and China. The participants spend seven months learning about Chinese culture and language before working in a business in China. A group of their Chinese counterparts is following a similar programme in Europe.
