Mobile enterprise solutions enable communication within organisations. But are there applications that can help different organisations work together?

I was in a position recently where a business-to-business mobile service would have come in handy. Last month I returned with the family from three weeks in France to find a burst water main had flooded our cellar. The water had subsided but the cellar was a stinking mess of rusted food tins, gardening equipment, cycling gear and other domestic detritus.
