Three suspected members of the violent Basque separatist group Eta were arrested in France early on Wednesday, in the latest sign of success for joint French-Spanish anti-terrorism operations.
The arrests in the Alpine resort of Villarembert-le-Corbier came three weeks after the start of a new series of Eta bombings in the northern Spanish city of Burgos and the holiday island of Mallorca, in which two civil guards were killed and more than 40 people injured.
