Project Kangaroo comes under fire

The head of the main lobby group on internet connections has criticised Project Kangaroo, the online video joint venture between ITV, Channel 4 and BBC Worldwide, for potentially benefiting from the next generation of broadband without bearing any of the costs.

Kip Meek, chairman of the Broadband Stakeholder Group, made his remarks to an audience which included Stephen Carter, the minister for communications and representatives from Ofcom, the communications regulator.
