Ahmadi-Nejad orders probe into student’s death

Iran’s president Mahmoud Ahmadi-Nejad has urged the judiciary to investigate the “suspicious” death of Neda Agha-Soltan, a 27-year-old philosophy student, who became a symbol of resistance to the disputed presidential election results.

Neda was shot in the chest at a protest rally on Saturday June 20 - the bloodiest day of post election protests when at least 10 people were killed for defying the official ban on any protest in the streets.
