South Korean exports jump 17.4%

South Korean exports rose 17.4 per cent in June compared with the previous month, adding to signs of a nascent recovery in Asia’s fourth-largest economy.

“Exports are in a recovery phase,” Lee Dong-geun, deputy minister at the ministry of knowledge economy, told reporters.
