Lords reject proposed C4 tie-up with BBC

For the second time in two days, a parliamentary committee has cast doubt on the practicality of stitching together assets of the BBC and Channel 4 to safeguard the latter’s financial future.

The communications committee of the House of Lords said in a report published on Tuesday that it rejected the idea as what it called “corporate engineering”.
