Jakarta on alert following executions

Indonesia is on high alert for revenge attacks after the country executed the three men convicted for the Bali bombings, which killed 202 people, including 23 Britons, just over six years ago.

The British, Australian and US embassies all put out special warnings on Sunday for travellers to avoid demonstrations and crowded tourist areas. The Australian government said it had received ”credible information” that terrorists may be planning attacks in Indonesia.
