Cathay Pacific, the Hong Kong carrier, is taking out some business class seats in a number of aircraft on regional routes as passenger demand for premium travel in Asia remains weak.
Cathay Pacific said it would replace 14 business class seats on its 12 Boeing 777-300 carriers – which mainly fly between Hong Kong and other Asian cities such as Taipei and Tokyo – with 27 economy seats, to match capacity with demand.
