Kookmin Bank will meet foreign investors this week to market what would be the first covered bond issue in Asia as South Korea’s largest lender looks to diversify its investor base to raise capital.

The bank has hired Citigroup and HSBC for the bond sale and will hold investor roadshows in Singapore, Hong Kong, Boston and London this week.
