Reinfeldt pushes US and China on emissions

Sweden, holder of the rotating European Union presidency, has warned that emissions targets set by the US and China this week are not tough enough to prevent global warming running out of control.

Fredrik Reinfeldt, Swedish prime minister, said it was a welcome step forward that the world’s two largest emitters of carbon dioxide had set firm goals ahead of next month’s climate change summit in Copenhagen.
