Parmalat on Thursday sued Credit Suisse First Boston to recover about €250m ($309m) it paid the investment bank before the food group went bankrupt last December.

The suit was the fourth to be issued against Parmalat's former bankers in less than a month. It also came one day after Enrico Bondi, the group's government-appointed administrator, sued Parmalat's former auditors for $10bn in damages.
