Citadel creates capital position for D'Souza

Citadel Investment Group, best known for its hedge funds, has hired Rohit D'Souza, formerly a top executive at Merrill Lynch, to spearhead its push into the capital markets business.

Mr D'Souza, 44, rose rapidly at Merrill to become head of equities and alternative investments, including hedge funds. He quit in March this year.
