Autonomy poised to rejoin FTSE 100

Autonomy, the search software company, is expected to be confirmed as a member of the FTSE 100 next week for the first time in seven years.

The quarterly reshuffle of the stock market by FTSE International, the index compiler, on Wednesday is likely to ratify the Cambridge-based group’s promotion, which will come into effect on September 10.
