Obama bloodied but unbowed

Conventional wisdom in Washington says Barack Obama has so far come off worse in his increasingly fissile exchanges with Hillary Clinton on national security.

At the latest Democratic candidates’ debate on Tuesday night, Mrs Clinton was joined by Christopher Dodd and Joe Biden, the senators for Connecticut and Delaware, in attacking Mr Obama’s alleged callowness and naivety.
