One small step for microbots

The science-fiction scene of microscopic robots swimming through the human bloodstream to clear blocked arteries – as in the 1966 film The Fantastic Voyage – has moved a step closer to reality through a remarkable feat of miniaturisation at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia.
