From Mr David Wardrop.
Sir, My sympathy is with British Airways shareholders who were not even offered a cup of tea by the board of directors at Tuesday’s long annual meeting (“Everything I do, I do it for you”, People, July 16). Such common courtesy is part of our national culture but some Plcs continue to treat shareholders as time-wasters and the annual meeting, the only meeting formally required by law, as a chore. How disgraceful.
