Defence industry goes on the attack against corruption

European and US defence companies will this week start talks to introduce a joint code of ethics to cover arms sales.

Representatives from the industry's leading trade bodies will meet at the Farnborough Air Show on Tuesday. European companies have developed an anti-corruption code to improve the industry's reputation, after allegations of bribery and corruption in connection with some of its biggest names.
