Huntsman retaliates with lawsuit against Apollo

Huntsman Corporation, the chemicals group sued by prospective suitor Apollo Management last week, drew its own legal sword on Monday and sued the private equity firm, along with its partners Leon Black and Joshua Harris, for more than $3bn in damages.

The takeover of Huntsman is the latest deal to crash into the US court system in the wake of the credit crisis.
