There is a shortage of good science graduates. Let me rephrase that: there is a shortage of science graduates, full stop.

There are fears that the technology-based industries in the developed world will suffer. Where are the technicians to staff the laboratories of tomorrow to come from? Eastern Europe, perhaps?
