Oil stocks help boost FTSE 100

Royal Bank of Scotland was squeezed to the top of the FTSE 100 risers on Tuesday.

The shares surged in advance of key index re-weightings. After the close Tuesday night, both FTSE and MSCI adjusted their indices to incorporate RBS’s £15bn capital raising.
