Genial David Grigson has taken his second FTSE 100 board role after leaving Reuters as finance director in the wake of its merger with Thomson. The latest is at Edinburgh-based Standard Life, in addition to his Carphone Warehouse role. Standard Life chairman Gerry Grimstone is keeping headhunters busy. The latest hiring through JCA Group follows last month's recruitment of Canadian Sheelagh Whittaker as a director. Another gap has been created as finance director David Nish steps up to succeed Sir Sandy Crombie after a search conducted by Egon Zehnder.
