U-turn on home packs raises yet more questions

The U-turn on home information packs by the government could distort the housing market, the opposition said on Tuesday.

The dramatic changes to the Hip proposals announced by ministers on Tuesday means that only people selling four-bedroom homes or larger will be required to pay for a pack when the revised rules come into effect in August.
