Canada’s Bombardier, one of the world’s big four aircraft makers, is cutting another 3,000 jobs, or about 10 per cent of its aerospace workforce, in response to the deepening recession in commercial and private aviation.
The latest reduction comes two months after the group announced it was cutting 1,360 jobs, bringing the total to 4,360 or close to 15 per cent of the group’s global aerospace workforce since early February.
