Plump Hizbollah chief outshines withered Blair

Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah this year tops the honours awarded by the dried fruit sellers of Cairo, who have named the most select dates on sale during the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan after the Lebanese Hizbollah leader.

A kilo of “Nasrallahs” has been fetching up to E£24 ($4.20, €3.30, £2.25) in the Rod al Farag neighbourhood, famed for its dried fruit market.
