Many new ideas yet to be exploited

At first glance, it would appear that there is already an exchange traded fund to meet every conceivable need, and even a few needs that most people would consider inconceivable.

According to Morgan Stanley, the world boasted 953 ETFs as of June 30, operated by 66 managers on 41 exchanges and with total assets under management of $689bn (£334bn, €478bn).
