KCom slips on results fears

KCom hit a record low on fears that its interim results next week may disappoint.

Analysts saw the telecoms group as likely to fight the downturn by cutting costs at its network services division. Andrew Darley, an analyst at KBC Peel Hunt, called such a move "the first stage of our apocalypse scenario", with the second requiring a dividend cut as customer revenues collapse.
