Peugeot sees crisis forcing car alliances

Christian Streiff, chief executive of PSA Peugeot Citröen, expects the deepening global economic crisis to drive new alliances between automakers scrambling to cut costs.

In an interview with the Financial Times, the former Airbus boss also said that after a serious illness, his health – a preoccupation among analysts who cover Europe’s second-largest carmaker – was “no longer an issue”.
