Foreign workers face headache over tax plans

Thousands of foreign employees working for banks or other multinationals in Britain face a compliance headache because of new tax measures, according to advisers.

Deloitte, the professional services company, said the “intrusive, costly and sometimes quite pointless” rules in the finance bill would annoy employees, increase costs for employers and reduce the attractiveness of the UK for some multinationals.
