Commodity prices fuel Wall Street rally

US stocks climbed higher on Tuesday after rising commodity prices and deal activity added to optimism from the previous session’s rally.

Global markets also rose after Australia became the first G20 nation to raise interest rates since the onset of the financial crisis, bolstering hopes over the pace of economic recovery.
