Clinton reshuffle after Obama claims lead

Hillary Clinton on Sunday replaced her campaign manager following Barack Obama’s thumping triple victory the day before, which he said had given him a clear edge in the battle for delegates who will choose the Democratic contender. He notched up another victory Sunday, winning Maine’s party caucus.

Mrs Clinton said that her decision to replace Patti Solis Doyle, a long-time loyalist, with Maggie Williams, who was her chief of staff when she was First Lady, was motivated by the need for fresh energy. Ms Doyle, a Hispanic-American, will stay on as a senior adviser.
