Sir, This week the 26 energy ministers of the member countries of the International Energy Agency, including the US, Japan and most of the European Union countries, are meeting in Paris. The meeting has been organised under the heading of Bridging the Gap to a Secure and Sustainable Energy Future, and no other heading could be more relevant.
