Leo Kirch, the media entrepreneur at the centre of a legal fight with Deutsche Bank, has linked possible talks over a settlement to a spying scandal at the bank.

Mr Kirch said Deutsche should make clear whether its lawyers in the case were also involved in the surveillance affair.
