The Ikea of generic drug manufacturers

Unorthodox conditions in Teva’s company statutes have not stopped the Israel-based group becoming the world’s largest generic drugs manufacturer – and may even have helped.

The majority of the board of directors must be Israeli residents, and shareholders who are residents or citizens of countries at war with Israel may not vote.
