CDU plans reforms to Labour laws in 100 days

The opposition Christian Democratic Union would make sweeping changes to Germany's labour market rules within 100 days of winning power in next month's election a close ally of Angela Merkel, the CDU leader, said on Tuesday.

The CDU is likely to lead Germany's next government, possibly in coalition with the liberal Free Democrats, according to opinion polls.
