Trading: A high-profile and speculative metal

When the conversation turned to commodities at Berkshire Hathaway’s Woodstockian shareholder conference in Omaha, Nebraska this weekend, Warren Buffett commented that “something like copper is speculative on both sides of the market - you are looking at a market that’s responding more to speculative than fundamental forces.”

With all due respect, the Sage of Omaha may not know the half of it.
