Afghan women offer electorate moral choice

Afghanistan's women have one big advantage over the country's warlords and druglords standing in tomorrow's elections: they do not have blood on their hands.

A quarter of all parliamentary seats have been reserved for women under the country's new constitution, but electoral experts believe it is possible that they will win more than their guaranteed quota in some areas, a remarkable coup in this patriarchal society.
