ComScore refines web metrics system

ComScore, a leading measurer of website audiences, is refining its system to help advertisers avoid bombarding a minority of heavy online users and missing less active surfers.

Internet audience figures are subject to greater scrutiny as marketers increase their web expenditure and ComScore’s main measurement rival - Nielsen NetRatings - has also recently added new features.
