Democrats enlist students in enemy territory

Early voting started in Colorado on Monday, and none were more eager to cast their ballots than the students of Colorado College. Located in Colorado Springs, the most conservative town in the state and in many respects the headquarters of Christian conservatism in America, CC is a bastion of liberalism deep inside enemy territory.

In 2004, hundreds of CC’s students were turned away from the polls because officials found fault with their voter registration forms. The same appears to be happening again. Officials working for El Paso County, which includes Colorado Springs and is Republican-controlled, told out-of-state students that they would lose various benefits if they registered to vote in the state.
