Sportingbet shifts its focus

Sportingbet will divert advertising spending to the UK in an effort to gain business from big British bookmakers in the lucrative sportsbook market.

The online gambling company spends up to £60m on marketing across Europe but investors wanted it to have a bigger impact in the UK, according to Andrew McIver, chief executive.
