Credit default risk index trades below 100bp

The US credit derivative benchmark for investment grade corporate risk traded below 100 basis points on Wednesday, in a further sign that the vehemence of the financial crisis is abating for investors.

The move marked the first time since May 2008 that the US CDX IG index has been below 100bp.
