Online music service Napster on Wednesday posted a third-quarter loss but cited strong subscription growth and raised its fiscal year revenue outlook.

Napster reported a loss from continuing operations of $16.4 million, or 47 cents a share, on revenue of $12.1 million for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec 31.
