Private equity owners eye TDC share sale

The private equity owners of TDC, the Danish telecommunications operator that was Europe’s biggest leveraged buy-out when bought for €13bn in 2005, have started a strategic review that is expected to result in a big share sale next year.

Nordic Telephone Company, controlled by Apax Partners, Blackstone, Kohlberg Kravis Roberts, Permira and Providence Equity Partners, owns 87.9 per cent of TDC.
